The Magic of the Disappearing Act

It’s old news that making yourself scarce will create intrigue in a lady, but lately I have been having success with causing this to happen right within the evening.

It helps that right now I am an exotic creature, a New Yorker in southern Mexico, so the girls are already very curious. What I have been doing is introducing myself by saying “Hola, habla ingles?”, and then starting a stimulating conversation with a group of girls. We talk about everything and anything, from travel, to dating, to stupid guys, to surfing, to sex, and I always make sure to lead the discussion, include everyone in the group and at some point, pick out the girl I like best and say something like “Oh, your a good one! Much better than any American girl” so she knows that I want her.

Then, at a peak in the conversation, or when there is that 5 minute ‘lull’ that always happens, I tactfully eject. I say something like “My time here is limited, I want to make the most of it” or “I need to spend some more energy, I’m going to walk around for a bit.” Then I say that I’ll be back and I take off.

I use the escape time to game some more girls, scope out the scene, befriend a guy and introduce him to someone, or just have a drink alone. If there aren’t any better options, I’ll return to the group or girl that I liked the most.

Upon return, I am always always always greeted with a smile and invited to sit and stay. Then the conversation continues, I flat out tell the group that I came back for the one girl I had complimented before and want to spend some time alone with her. And they encourage her go with me!

This tactic has been working great so far, I’m sure that me being a foreigner has a lot to do with the success rate, but the disappearing act has been a game amplifier so far.
