I have read a few articles about how important it is to dress well, suit up, and stay classy amongst the rabble when travelling by air. I agree with most of the things said, but to be honest—I’m not comfortable in a suit, it doesn’t mesh with my vibe—I only wear one on special occasions, or on dress-up dates with super fine girls.
And I also notice a lot of guys who travel suited up…it doesn’t make you stand THAT much out from the usual.
This past year I traveled frequently, most of the time leaving from JFK airport in NYC. I noticed something the past few times that I flew–I was being eye raped much more than usual. I attribute part of this to me getting new baggage, part of it to the way I am dressed, and part of it to the way I carry myself now.
The baggage is important. Girls I traveled with used to say ‘that huge backpack makes you look like a kid.’
Now I have very stylish girls compliment my travel bags. My main bag is a weekender that holds all of my clothes and toiletries. My other is a backpack that is made of the same material and matches the color of one big stripe that runs down the weekender.
It’s important for a man to carry his bag. It looks way more masculine than the guy who is dragging a box on two little girly wheels behind him. Plus it makes the veins and biceps bulge out.
The outfits that have been getting me eye fucked like a tiger can be described as an ‘adventurer meets artist’ think of an Indiana Jones/Bob Dylan mash-up.
I have a hat that I obtained in Mexico–it’s a straw hat, not too big, and very functional.
The shirt is a seersucker button down, top three buttons undone, super slim fit, untucked, sleeves rolled up, little wrinkled, very textured, light green with some striped pattern. The key here is the fit. The shirt looks good because it fits my tapered body.
Or I get the same effect with a maroon deep V-neck.
The pants are slim fitted—either kahakis or jeans. The bottoms are cuffed.
I wear a classic watch on one wrist and two bracelets on the other.
And a simple necklace.
It’s a pain sometimes to take off the jewelry through the metal detector. But the two minutes extra is worth it in eye fucks and self-confidence. I know they look good.
Also key is to get to the airport early. Rushing brings stress, and stress is unattractive and will fuck up your game. Plus, how are you going to have time chatting up all the cuties that will be eyefucking you if you have to run to your gate?
Getting there early allows you to walk slowly and upright, like you own the place, like you have flown millions of miles all over the world, and are gearing up for another adventure in an exotic local.
The look on your face should be that of an artist. Observing everything, not inside your own head, coolly detached, yet able to feel what others feel. That’s when you will detect the women who can’t help but glance over.
You shouldn’t be smiling like an idiot, but don’t be afraid to toss over a smirk to the girl eyefucking you from her chair.
Now the place is yours. I prefer to check the lounge/bar areas of the terminal. Walk by them all slowly and choose my targets in advance. Then as I make my second round, go up to a girl of my choice, say ‘hi, lets kill time together’ and take it from there.
I am going to be leaving from JFK in a few days to spend some time in New Orleans and will report back with any success/eyefuck rates soon after.
